Made in one day and supported by a sturdy lemon cake and plenty of toothpicks. Are constructed mostly from golden marzipan with food colouring, some royal icing and piped icing, sprinkles poked in where the L.E.D.s on the helmets are, and half a Twix bar at the centre of each torso for sturdiness!
I didn't bake the cake, but they needed a cake to sit on because there was no chance of them standing up on their own. I wanted a very normal looking cake from the shop. As if they were sauntering through the kitchen and went "There's a cake...let's sit down." |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
